Description
1. Usage Instructions: Insert the supplied battery (CR2032 3.6V) into the battery compartment or power the device via a Type-C cable at 5V. Insert the memory module to be tested into the memory tester's slot. If all indicator lights illuminate simultaneously and consistently, this indicates no open circuits or short circuits in the memory module's data lines. If indicator lights flicker during testing, it indicates poor contact at the gold fingers. If any indicator light fails to illuminate, it indicates an open circuit in the hardware. At this point, inspect the wear condition of the gold fingers. Locate the faulty pin based on the pin number marked on the indicator light, then use a multimeter to determine the specific cause of the fault: whether the resistor array is damaged or the PCB circuit is open. After passing the hardware test, consider potential memory performance issues. Use replacement methods or specialized testing software to identify faulty memory modules
2. Dual power supply system supports standalone or simultaneous operation. When using the battery alone, recharge via Type-C when low power (indicator turns red during charging, green when fully charged). Battery and Type-C can supply power simultaneously or independently
3. Suitable for testing DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 UDIMM and RDIMM memory modules in computers. Identifies faults including PCB defects, resistor array damage, memory chip open circuits/short circuits, and memory performance issues
4. Weight: about 143g
5. Size: about 22 x 15.5cm
